About me
I’m Victoria Tsukanova, and I’ve been passionate about teaching Pilates for over 15 years. My journey has taken me through certifications from some of the most respected Pilates schools, including receiving my American Certification directly from the President of the PMA Pilates Association. Today, I’m continuing my education at Hunter College, working towards a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree—an exciting step that adds even more depth to my understanding of the human body and helps us achieve your goals together.
My background is unique: before becoming a Pilates instructor, I was a professional ballroom dancer. This experience gave me a deep appreciation for movement, grace, and discipline, which I now bring to my Pilates practice. Over the past five years, I’ve taught in Manhattan at leading studios like Polestar Pilates and Balanced Body, honing my skills in body mechanics, flexibility, and strength.
What I’ve learned is that Pilates is truly for everyone. That’s why I created Victoria’s Method—to offer tailored sessions that fit each client’s needs, regardless of age or fitness level. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, improving posture, or just aiming to stay healthy and strong, my goal is to create a personalized experience that supports your journey, one session at a time.
